Stylistically, most people know me for my darker, sometimes emotional, beats within the 140 tempo. Even though that sound has brought me to an exciting place in my musical career, I feel like its time to branch out and experiment with new and exciting sounds and textures, while still maintaining a core love for the styles that brought me here on my journey.

This beat was originally supposed to be a simple instrumental for a grime MC, but as I continued work on it, the less i believed it was worthy of such. At this time the instrumental had already made its rounds to several DJs and despite my own negative critique, the track was received well by the listeners.

I've always wanted to release music that I, first and foremost, felt happy with. However, I didn't enjoy this beat nearly enough to want to release it to the public no matter how much others enjoyed it. Thus, I decided to try my hand at a variation of the track leading me in a direction I had never experimented with.

The second track on this release is one of my early attempts at combining all of the styles I've found along the way in my constantly evolving taste in music. I'm very excited to be playing with these new sounds and tempos, and hope both new and old listeners can enjoy the direction I'm slowly taking things.
